The production of glass components for the solar and photovoltaic sector is achieved through the use of moulded glass or extra-clear glass with thicknesses from 3 mm to 6 mm.
Starting from the technical specifications agreed with the customer, grinded glass panels are made and heat treated with a tempering or hardening process. Characteristics of the production process are the high production rate combined with a constant quality, which is guaranteed through a quality control carried out for each individual process phase.
The result is a product that conforms to any application and final assembly process, for the construction of the solar panel for photovoltaic or thermal application.
The range is completed with the production of glass components for application in Thin Film solar technology: it is possible to choose between different types of float glass with regard to the characteristics of light transmission and thickness, for use as glass for front and back sides with a specific level of fragmentation.
